AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): An elderly woman was injured after being hit by SDPO vehicle in Bishramganj Bazar.

Reportedly, a 70-year-old woman was injured on the National Highway in Bishramganj Bazar by Bishalgarh’s SDPO Rahul Das while taking the Chief Minister's vehicle in a convoy around 11 am on Thursday.

It is known that the car of SDPO Rahul Das was on duty as security in front of the Chief Minister's convoy and the vehicle hit a woman named Vishwa Lakshmi Debbarma, she was seriously injured after being hit by the vehicle.

Later, the injured woman was rescued by the police personnel and brought to the primary health center.

Several high-ranking police officers rushed to the primary health center of Bishramganj

The injured woman Vishwa Lakshmi Debbarma was referred to Agartala GB Hospital as her condition was critical.
