KHOWAI, Nov 29 (TIWN): Amid BJP’s tall claims about Law and Order situation in Tripur5a, everyday attacks on opposition leaders, workers continue. A 23-year-old CPI-M worker named Ashish Dutta was beaten up by several BJP workers in Khowai Ajagar Tila area. It is known that the young man named Ashish Dutta was stopped by several BJP workers on his way to the market from his home and beaten up. Later, the family members of the injured youth rushed to the spot after receiving information. They rescued Ashish Dutta in a bloody state and first took him to the local hospital.
From there he was referred to GB Hospital for better treatment. He is currently under treatment in the hospital.
The injured youth said that he was beaten up by the BJP workers because he was a supporter of the CPI-M party. It is known that Ashish Datta will file a case in the police station on behalf of the family.
In contrary CM Manik Saha on Tuesday while addressing Rabindra Hall in MBB College on the occasion of Vice President of India’s arrival claimed that law and order has improved a lot and people are in state of “feeling good” for that.
