AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): With the initiative of Unakoti District Congress, a rally was organized as part of the Bharat Jodo movement on Sunday in Kailasahar Assembly constituency.

The party was led by the state Congress president Birjit Sinha and All India Congress Secretary Szarita Laitphlang, Unakoti District Congress President Md. Badruzzaman, Congress leaders Satyaban Das, Swagat Das, Tarun Saha, Chandrasekhar Sinha and many others were also present. The rally started from Tilabazar area of Kailasahar Assembly constituency and ended at Padmer Paar area after roaming various streets of the city.

At the end of the rally, Pradesh Congress President Birjit Sinha said that the rally has started in different parts of the state to mark the Birthday Anniversary of late PM Indira Gandhi on November 19.

Birjit Sinha also said that the rally will be done continuously in the entire Unakoti District and across the state. The rally is being done to unite party workers, supporters and against the misrule of the BJP government in Tripura and to evict the BJP government, said Sinha.
