AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): A 38-year-old man named Sohail Islam, a resident of Ahaliya area was admitted to a mental hospital located in Narsingarh area by his family members as he was addicted to drugs and used to consume various drugs for a long time. He has been under treatment at the mental hospital in Narsingarh area.

But on Thursday, the hospital authorities told Sohail’s family over phone that the young man Sohail fell in the bathroom and received serious injuries. After receiving such information, his family rushed to the Mental hospital, and brought him to GB Hospital for treatment.

The family of the injured youth confronting the media complained that the young man could not have been injured in this way by falling. It is alleged that he was beaten up brutally.

Presently,  the young man admitted to GB Hospital in critical condition.
