AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): The local people of Paschim Nalikhara and Kachim Rhara Village Committees blocked road in the area adjacent to District Hospital on Ambassa Kamalpur Street.

Earlier too the road was blocked but the blockaders were removed with an assurance that the deplorable road will be repaired but nothing had happened in reality.

It is alleged that the blockaders demanding road repair several times were informed to the local authority but the road was not repaired. As a result, the locals are facing troubles to move on that road. The public vehicles are also taking a high rate for fares from the public.
