AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Removal of free medical services was one of the darkest chapters in Tripura’s Health Dept history under sacked, former CM Biplab Deb and the privatization of Govt hospital labs was one of them.
With the privatization of labs, the Govt job recruitment has stopped and in the last 5 years no lab technician was recruited.
‘All Medical Laboratory Technologists Association’ held a press meet on Wednesday seeking recruitments in permanent posts.
“In Health dept heavy crisis are going on because labs have been privatized and so jobs are privatized. The private companies are using Govt infrastructure but enjoying the benefit from the business”, said a member of ‘All Medical Laboratory Technologists Association’ at Agartala Press Club.
