Agitating public said they waited for 7 days for water service’s restoration but even after complaints were made to various places, no development came.

“Can humans survive without water ? We are totally cut off water connectivity. When we ask, the officials have lots of excuses to place. Oneday they would say power cut problems and another day machine problem. Now it has been 7 days that we are forced to live without water. Such attitudes have forced us to sit in protest”, said the agitating public.

Due to the blockade, vehicles had stuck on both sides for hours.

Later water was served through pipeline and after that only the blockade was withdrawn.

Locals said that such drinking water crisis is a regular problem for them. Along with water crisis, power cut, pathetic road conditions are other major causes of sufferings.
