AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): Reportedly, a 38-year-old youth named Sajal Das fell seriously ill after being bitten by a venomous snake on his way to home from the market in Zamir Ghat area under Lefunga police station at 7 O’Clock on Thursday. After a long time, his family members took him to Mohanpur Hospital but as his condition was critical, he was referred to GB Hospital for better treatment.

Sajal Das who was seriously ill after being brought to GB Hospital died at GB Hospital at 3 pm on Friday. His body was handed over to his family on Saturday after post-mortem.

As the news of Sajal Das's death spread, a shadow of mourning descended on the family.
