AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath triggered another controversy by unnecessarily comparing IAS, IPS, TCS, TPS officers with TET qualifiers.
Addressing media, Ratan Lal Nath said, “Let the IAS/IPS, TCS/TPS and TET qualified teachers sit together (in a competition). I am pretty sure TET qualified teachers will not be defeated. They will win rather”.
However, the statement came amid TET qualifiers are protesting against delays in appointments and over 3000 TET qualifiers are still unemployed.
Regarding 10323 teachers, Nath said a major section of them will get jobs under JRBT.
“I want the best out of all”, added Nath signaling TET qualifiers may be filtered before appointments.
