BISHALGARH, Oct 19 (TIWN): Political tension still prevails in Bishalgarh followed by attacks, counter-attacks, fire links, petrol bombs and flash of weapons which continued throughout the night. The attack was carried out at the house of Gopal Saha, the former booth president of the BJP party in the area and recently joined in the Congress party. Then after attacking Gopal Saha’s house, fire was connected to Rabindra Sarkar's drink shop. The incident occurred in Routkhala area under Bishalgarh police station. Few reports said, local people had countered the BJP backed goons and set fire to the bikes.

As per reports, on Monday evening, a group of BJP workers led by Juba Morcha Sipahijala North District Secretary Saikat Saha threatened Rabindra Sarkar and Sajal Sarkar in Bypass Choumuhani area of ??North Rautkhala area to close their shops and also allegedly threatened the workers of the opposition party in the entire area.

When the BJP workers went to Rautkhala area further to threaten them, the local people countered then. BJP workers somehow managed to return from the spot, but a lot of tension was created in the area based on the incident.

The day after this incident i.e. on Tuesday night, there was a fiery situation in the whole area.

After the incident a large number of TSR and central paramilitary forces were deployed in the area. The well-intentioned community of the area is demanding the high-level intervention of the district administration to gradually calm the environment.
