AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Various complaints are being raised regarding the construction of an alternative national highway from Belonia to Jolaibari.

Even though the construction of the alternative National Highway started a year before, the progress of the work is not even 10 percent completed, allegedly and the administration is playing a silent role. No official and Engineer came to the Construction spot for inspection, reportedly. As a result, the construction company named Satish Prasad continues poor-low quality work which is captured in Journalist’s lens.

The alternative national highway of Bilonia via Jolaibari is being constructed by not using Cement and stones in the proper manner.

In the last monsoon, the people of Mahuripur, Sonaichari, Ratanpur and other large areas faced difficulties due to poor road construction by Satish Prasad Construction Company.

At present, with the onset of the dry season work has started but the robbery is going on with full fledged in broad day-light which has generated anger among the local people.
