AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): A 36-year-old housewife named Mandira Das was tried to be killed by slitting her throat near Ranibazar Nalgaria railway line on Sunday, reportedly. After a long time, the locals noticed the housewife lying beside the railway line and informed the Fire Department.

The Fire Department’s personnel rescued the housewife in a bloody state and brought her to GB Hospital for treatment. Currently, the housewife is under treatment at GB Hospital with serious injuries.

It is known that the housewife named Mandira Das, wife of Laxman Das, a resident of the area went to the railway line area for some work. At that moment, an attempt was made to kill the housewife by cutting her throat with a sharp weapon.

However, it is not yet known why the housewife was tried to be killed by slitting her throat and who was behind the heinous crime.
