AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Government and private institutions were vandalized with liquor bottles centering refusal of Durga Puja ‘Donation (Chanda)’. Local people are shocked by this incident, the incident took place in Kamalpur Noagaon area.

Reportedly, unlike every year Durga Puja was held in Kamalpur Noagaon area but some locals refused to pay local clubs demanded money for Durga Puja and centering this the Bike Gang’s goons vandalized school furniture, attacked on houses who refused to pay the demanded money. The miscreants centering this maintained an atmosphere of terror in the area. A sub-centre and sports building were also vandalized this time one after another,

The people of the area have not got the courage to protest against the accused ‘Mithun gang’ as everyone's fear is that if someone opens up their month, then he will be the next target. Allegedly, blueprints made before every incident in the house and a local leader is working behind and to cover up all the hooliganism act, a share of the money extorted from the people was given to the local leader reportedly.

However, after the opening of Noagaon High School in the concerned area on Thursday, broken liquor bottles were seen in the headmaster's office, even some furniture was seen broken. It was not difficult for anyone to understand what the reason behind the rampage in the school was and who the accused was.
