AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Reportedly, a Gold chain was stolen from the neck of a woman named Monty Goswami on the 26th September. Later based on CCTV footage a case was filed at local PS. Monty Goswami’s following the Bike’s registration Number caught the snatcher on Friday and inquired him in front of local Public, where the snatcher admitted that he snatched the Gold Chain from Monty Goswami’s neck.

Later, the accused identified as Viraj Debbarma was handed over to the AMtali PS Police after catching him red-handed.

Amtali police station OC Prajit Malakar said he has been arrested and will be produced in court on Saturday. It is suspected the young generation is being involved with such crimes under the influence of intoxication.
