AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): One more IPFT MLA has joined Tipra Motha party after submitting his resignation letter ahead of 2023 Assembly Poll. The MLA is Dhananjay Tripura who on Friday publicly walked with Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya after resigning from MLA post. TIpra Motha is now the ruling party in Tripura ADC and has a strong base in ADC vote banks. However, IPFT’s present condition almost is having no base in ADC followed by fake promises given to the people on various issues including Tipra Land and in this condition taking IPFT’s MLA is not considered as a big achievement for Tipra Motha.

Before 2018 Election IPFT in the name of Tipraland had bagged maximum ADC seats and after the poll, the party turned almost a puppet to the hands of BJP. Only Brishketu Debbarma had dared to quit party and MLA post amid BJP-IPFT Govt’s intimidation and attack on opposition but now the MLAs who are quitting party are considered a playing 'safe'. In other words, they do not have any option to stay with IPFT.

More IPFT MLAs to join Tipra Motha in coming days, said sources.

Question raises, will ADC voters accept the same leaders as MLA candidates for 2023 poll from Tipra Motha who had cheated own people ? Why no BJP MLA is joining Tipra Motha, it’s also under scanner as speculation is on regarding Tipra Motha's closeness with BJP.  Is this a new blueprint to give MLA tickets the IPFT leaders in the upcoming Election via Tipra Motha?
