AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): Teachers’ Crisis hits Tripura Govt Schools as BJP Govt failed to recruit only 3,500 Teachers who are already TET qualified, though recently after massive protests, the Govt has assured to recruit all TET Qualifiers at a time. But there is no urgency inside the Dept to organize more numbers of TET exams so that recently terminated 10323 teachers’ vacant posts backlogs can be cleared. Instead of giving placement to the job aspirants who are qualified, Tripura BJP Govt is rather busy faking job data. As per CMIE’s latest data, Tripura ranks fourth in the unemployment rate.

Not only rural area’s schools but the capital city Agartala’s schools have been suffering due to the teachers’ crisis. Questions are repeatedly being asked, why the Department is not recruiting teachers, even after having sufficient numbers of qualified candidates.

Over 20000 vacant posts are in teaching posts and more than 3000 TET qualified are unemployed. Numbers of TET exams have also curbed which resulted in massive unemployment among job aspirants.
