Death Toll of 10323 Teachers raised to 141 as one more terminated, kidney patient teacher died without Treatment

AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): The death toll of 10323 teachers has raised to 141 after one more teacher died on death row. Samrat Debbarma, a terminated teacher among the 10323 teachers died of kidney disease. He died in home as his family was unable to continue his costly treatment. Today 10323 teachers visited Samrat Debbarma’s home at Abhoy Nagar area and paid him last tribute. Talking to the media, 10323 teacher Bijoy Krishna Saha said, “Just 2 days back, our another colleague committed suicide by jumping under the train and today this sad news has come that Samrat Debbarma died without treatment who was suffering due to kidney problems”.

“His family was unable to arrange two times meals. How could they manage costly treatments for kidney diseases ?”, asked Saha.

With Samrat Debbarma’s death, the death toll of 10323 teachers has raised to 141.

10323 teachers were terminated by Tripura Govt after Supreme Court had given a verdict about 10323 teachers, although the terminated teachers are now stating that not all 10323 teachers were terminated a limited number of teachers were only terminated. In an RTI reply from Supreme Court it was reportedly said that not all the 10323 teachers were parties under the cases.

10323 teachers said, due to the wrong interpretation of the verdict, the teachers had lost their jobs. Meeting CM Manik Saha, the 10323 teachers have sought back their jobs.
