AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Maha-Navami puja celebrated in Agartala Durga Bari on Tuesday. Devotees rushed to offer prayers on the occasion of the third day of puja. Navami puja was given with full devotion like every year. People offered their bhog, saree, flower to Goddess Durga. Durga Puja is one of the Hindu community's most anticipated and vibrant religious festivals. This grand festival is celebrated in states such as West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, and Bihar. But now the festivities are widespread and one can see big celebrations during this time all over north India. It is also commemorated to share joy and love and celebrate good over evil's victory.
In different parts of India, it is observed in different ways. The nation's western region observes it as Navratri and devotes nine days to worshipping Durga Maa in her nine forms.
