CPI-M protested against CNG Price hikes, Says, ‘This Govt is Anti-People’

AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): On October 1st night CNG Price hiked to Rs 9.30 Suddenly which made the Auto Drivers resentment. The auto drivers were shocked when they came to CNC station on Sunday morning to fill their Auto. Today CPI-M’s wing CITU protested against the price hikes. In Teliamura. A CPI-M leader said that in last 4.5 years this Govt has been taking one after another anti-people decisions and this decision is one of them. He said that the Govt must withdraw the decision immediately. An auto driver alleged that the price of CNG has increased and the prices of necessary commodities have increased but their price has not increased.

The driver also alleged that in the last 4.5 years the price of CNC has increased to Rs 40 and yesterday more Rs 9.30 has increased. Auto drivers asked if this way the Price of CNC can increase then how they will run themselves?   

The auto drivers seemed to express resentment over the Price hike of vehicle’s items including the auto MRF Wheel from Rs 1,050 to Rs 1,400.
