Auto Drivers Demand Auto-Fare Hikes after CNG Price Hiked : Gheraoed CM’s residence

AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): After CNG price was raised by Rs. 10.30, auto drivers led by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) gheraoed Chief Minister Manik Saha’s residence demanding auto-fare hikes.
Statewide protests started centering CNG price hikes overnight.
Road blockades and protests were reported from various corners of the state. On the other side, common men demanded no fares should be hiked and CNG prices should be downed.
In one night, the CNG price was raised Rs. 10,30 which generated panic among the vehicle drivers.
