AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): 2 seriously injured after two bikes collided head-on. The incident took place late on Friday night on Teliamura-Ampi road in the area adjacent to Ramthakur Ashram under Teliamura PS.

Reportedly, two bikes collided head-on in the area adjacent to Ramthakur Ashram on Teliamura-Ampi road and were injured critically.

Both the riders of two bikes were injured in this vehicle accident. Immediately after witnessing the accident, passers-by informed Teliamura fire brigade personnel. On receiving the accident news, Teliamura fire brigade personnel immediately rushed to the accident spot and rescued the two injured persons and brought them to the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.

The injured in the accident were identified as Anup Sarkar and Vivek Bhattacharya. As the condition of Anup Sarkar is critical, the doctors on duty at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital referred him to GB Hospital in Agartala for better treatment.
