AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath assured all TET qualifiers that they will be recruited before Durga puja whereas there is no sign of it and then when Ratan Lal Nath was asked about his promise, he said, if Finance Dept permits then he will recruit all TET qualifiers together but the Finance Minister told media that it is not true that Finance Dept controls the recruitment and Education Dept’s recruitment is controlled by the Education Dept only. Today morning TET qualifiers in protest gheraoed Deputy CM cum Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarman in his official residence as it has been a year that the youths had qualified in TET but the Depts are busy in dialogues and creating confusion instead of recruitment.
A job aspirant, “For a year we are demanding our recruitment. In 2021 we had passed out but the Dept is not recruiting us. We met the Education Minister many times and he assured that we will be recruited soon. Education Minister said that the file was sent to Finance Dept and before Durga puja, we will get offer letters. Then we met Finance Minister but both the Ministers’ statements vary. We need a clear understanding of the matter and ultimately we demands our recruitment at the earliest”.
On being asked by media today, however, Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman could not speciafically say anything regarding recruitment.
