AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): BJP Bike gang suddenly attacked the shop of Brajlal Das and Mrinal Majumdar, the permanent traders of the market, at the West Pilak Colony market of Jolaibari under Shantir Bazar sub-division on Friday afternoon. Attempt was made to kill them, seeing such tyranni scene both the Shop owners escaped from the scene, reportedly. They were on BJP’s point as both the shop owners were CPIM supporters.

Bike gang goons took away lakhs of Rupees items from Brajlal Das’s shop, a CPI-M supporter.

When the incident was reported to the OC of Jolaibari outpost, the OC on duty did not provide any kind of cooperation, allegedly. After receiving the information about the incident, the police of Baikhora police station arrived at the spot and inspected the spot.

On the other hand, Mrinal Majumder the victim said that the bike gang also ransacked his shop and took away various items.

Currently, two businessmen are going through insecurity, they said that the miscreants may attack on their houses at night. The victim traders also said that the local authorities are involved in this work, as all of them played silent role witnessing their shop being attacked.

However, now it is to be seen what kind of action the administration takes in this regard.
