KHOWAI, Sep 8 (TIWN): SFI state leader Sulaiman Ali was allegedly harassed by the police during a joining program a few days back.

This evening a protest rally started from the CPI-M Khowai district office and after walking around the town, demonstration staged in front of Khowai Police station.

The rally passed through Gangaprasad Park Puran Bazar and encircled Khowai Police Station.

SFI Divisional Leaders Narayan Nam Das, Sayantika Deb, Samit Deb Roy and others led the Thana Gherao program on that day. The police station was kept gheraoed for hours.
