AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): Amid massive teachers’ crisis in Tripura schools and over 3,500 TET qualifiers are jobless, Education Dept has given a data on recruitment of teachers this year saying only 1675 posts’ filling up was permitted by the Finance Dept this year. Education Director Chandni Chandran has given a figure of chronological recruitments saying, 60 Post Graduate and 75 Graduate posts were filled up and then 36 post graduates and 150 graduates. Then TRBT’s requisition was 600 elementary posts, 200 Special Education, 300 Post Graduates, 300 Post Graduates, 230 Graduates and 110 Post Graduates.
