AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): A demand letter was placed to the Headmaster of Acharya Prafullachandra Roy Smriti Vidyamandir School today as part of the state-wide deputation program initiated by AIPSF to withdraw the decision to impose fees on students in name of Vidyajyoti Scheme. Besides, demanded an adequate number of teachers to be appointed soon.

A leader of AIPSF said that the various facilities mentioned in the Vidyajyoti project such as - Medical services, smart classes, appointment of teachers for dance-song and other subjects, formation of student council, nothing has been done.

The members of the organization said that this process of agitation will be carried forward until their demands are met. The organisation urged the entire student society as well as teachers and parents to come forward.
