‘No Culprit will be spared’, CM says after violent attacks on BJP workers during J.P.Nadda’s visit

AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday met the injured BJP party workers at GB hospital who were beaten up by miscreants while going to attend the Khumulwng rally of BJP National President J.P.Nadda.

CM said, appropriate action will be taken against the culprits and none will be spared.

Saha has ordered police to identify the culprits at the earliest.

“Just imagine, what kind of hooliganism they dared that during Nadda ji’s visit they held such attacks across the state and beat up our kariyakartas......”, added CM Manik Saha.

“Violence is not new. Violence earlier also happened but it must end now. I have asked police authority to take the strictest actions against all culprits and nobody will be spared”, said CM Manik Saha.

Manik Saha also met the road accident victims who were injured while returning from the rally.

Expressing concerns over the road accidents, CM said, “I have been repeatedly talking on this increasing road accidents. Traffic dept has been asked to look into the matters”.
