AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): On Sunday, Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty told the media that the police had succeeded in investigating the car theft case from Khowai.

While giving the details, the Superintendent of Police said that a total of four people have been arrested. Meanwhile, Ratan Saha, who was arrested from Khowai, is on four-day police remand at Khowai police station. The remaining three were arrested last night and this morning.

The three arrested are Pradyut Deb Teliamura, Sanjeeb Debnath Khowai, Ajay Sarkar of Agartala.

The Superintendent of Police also said that on the night of August 23, the car was stolen and a duplicate number plate was installed. Many other things were changed in the car.

It is to be noted that -- Police arrested a person in the late night of last Tuesday 23rd August from Durganagar area of??Khowai city.
