AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Around 40-50 BJP miscreants held a brutal attack on a CPI-M activist named Bipad Hrishi Das in Amrtali Bypass area in front of Amtali PS and after the attack the injured is in GB Hospital undergoing treatment in critical condition. Centering the brutal attack on a COIM activist, CPIM leaders including activists gheraoed Police Headquarter demanding stern action against miscreants.
CPI-M state leader said that since past few days this way BJP miscreants have been attacking on CPIM, accordingly cases have lodged against miscreants with names but no miscreants yet arrested. He also said that earlier too they had come to Police Headquarter demanding arrest and stern action of miscreants but nothing had happened.
He also said that once upon a time this Tripura Police had reputations, received President Colours award but today the reputations of Police remained nowhere, the miscreants have beating up the Police officials. Police official was murdered by drug traders, alleged the leader but no one is getting punishment, allegedly.
The state is running by Hooligans, alleged a CPIM state leader.
However, CPIM party workers have been attacking by BJP in a series but the Police are not taking action accordingly.
