AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Ex-Agartala Municipal Council Mayor-in-Councilor and member of Dukli CPIM sub-committee Bipadbandhu Rishi Das was attacked by miscreants.

Reportedly, while going home from the CPI-M office after the meeting, 40-50 youths attacked him on the side of the road adjacent to the police station in front of the bypass.

The injured CPI-M leader is currently under treatment in GB Hospital.
