On May 13, 2018, a minor girl was abducted in Anandpur area of ??Belonia Rajnagar block. After many searches, on May 14th, 2018, the minor's family filed a case of abduction at Rajnagar PR Bari police station against a young man named Biplab Tripura from Anandpur area.

Finally, the police got the information from a reliable source and the day after the case was registered i.e. on May 15, the minor girl was rescued from Bathakhla area and handed over to her parents. Police arrested the accused Biplab Tripura. The police of Rajnagar PR Bari police station, after investigating the case under section 366, 376, IPC, section 4 of posco act, filed a charge sheet against accused Biplab Tripura in the court.
