AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s false claims continue to be exposed every day. Opposition CPI-M’s student wings’ members were arrested for protesting against the teachers’ crisis in Tripura schools today. After the formation of the BJP Govt in Tripura, at first with an unknown interest Tripura Govt led by corrupt and sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb started a loan system for the students who are interested to complete their B.Ed and now after completion of B.Ed and TET qualifications, thousands of passed out job aspirants are seated jobless amid increasing pressure on them for loan clearance.

On the other side, Minister Ratan Lal Nath continues to alter his statement as sometimes, he promises to give 14,000 jobs together if eligible candidates are found and then he said, Govt can’t distribute jobs to over 3,500 candidates although they are passed outs. Now recently Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that before Durga puja 2022 all TET qualified persons to be recruited but so far no sign of fulfilling any of his promises.

Tripura schools are majorly suffering due to extreme teachers’ crisis.

Already around thousand schools were closed down but still teachers’ crisis has hit the Education system. Single digit teachers’ numbers are almost in every school of Tripura.

To protest against the teachers’ crisis, SFI and TSU members had gathered in Battala but they were arrested by police and taken to AD Nagar ground.

Over 3,500 TET-qualified youths are now jobless in Tripura. With 10323 teachers’ terminations, huge numbers of vacant posts are in the Dept but the Govt has no plans to recruit sufficient numbers of teachers.
