AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): Students of Baghan School blocked the road in Premtala area, North Districts. The students raised complaint that the Kathaltali-Jherjheri alternate National Highway has remained in pathetic shape for a long time. The matter was reported to the BDO, PWD, and higher authorities but nothing happened. In protets, students today blocked the road.
A School student alleged the junior students of the safe school face difficulties going to School and students are also unable to reach the school on time.
The student demanded the road should be repaired immediately.
The student had blocked the road for an indefinite period of time. Later, Officials came to the spot and assured that the road will be repaired soon and after getting assurance of road repairing the students had withdrawn their road blockade.
