AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Double-Engine Govt of the BJP has miserably failed to develop the infrastructure in last 4.5 years across Tripura. Public in Natun Bazar, Amarpur blocked road in protest against water crisis issues there. Local people said that due to water crisis they are unable to even cook properly and they are also facing equal problems in cleaning, washing clothes and baths. Due to the road blockade traffic jam was witnessed on both sides of the road. Getting information, PWD and PWS officials rushed to the spot and assured the villagers that their problems will be solved soon.
“Whereas people get water two times in a day in the state, in our village we get hardly a day water in 3 days. We are in extreme suffering. We do not want food from the Govt and anyhow we are managing two times meal but at least give us water. How to cook without water ?”, asked a agitating woman to the officials who came to the spot hearing the road blockade information.
