AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Reacting to the deadly attack on 80 years old man Suresh Saha in Ranir Bazar, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman on Tuesday said this is the example of BJP’s Azadi-ka-Amrit-Mahotsav and their reality behind the patriotism’s mask. Sudip Roy Barman along with other Congress leaders, members visited GB hospital and met injured Suresh Saha and his family members. Sudip Barman while addressing media said, “This is clear picture of lawlessness in this state and replica of a Jungle Raj. He wanted to participate in Quit India movement program and that was his fault. We will spare nobody either it's Jirania/ Majlishpur or Ranir Bazar”, said Sudip Barman.
Sudip Barman expressed surprise at how the police are playing the role. He condemned that the police did not come to GB hospital for taking a preliminary statement from the victim.
