KAILASHAHAR, Aug 8 (TIWN): A clash emerged between the BJP and Congress members in Kailashahar on Strike Day caused injuries to many.

Centring the clash, a woman was injured, who belongs the BJP party. She was hospitalized immediately.

Congress activists were picketing on Strike Day whereas BJP activists were also picketing against the strike. Centering this, a clash occurred between Congress and BJP activists.

The situation remained still tense in the area. Police personnel have been deployed in sensative areas.

Congress activists were arrested during agitation including party president Birjit Sinha.
