AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Around 80 to 90 families are residing in Barua Colony, Nath Para and Saha Para of Laugang Panchayat under Shantir Bazar sub-division, Belonia, and they have been suffering from drinking water problem for the past 4 years.

Local people said that even after informing the local leaders the matter is yet not resolved.

Presently, water is being delivered to the area by water tankers from DWS for the last 3 days. A local person in the area said that the water crisis is not being solved with this little amount of water. Everyone wants the government should take swift action to solve the water problem in the area

Now it is to be seen what steps the government will take to solve the water problem in the area.
