AGARTALA, August 1, (TIWN): Indranagar Gomti Dairy's dirty packets and rotten water are passing through Indranagar road for a long time, from which the unpleasant smell is emanating in the area. Resulting the local shopkeepers and localities are unable to breathe in fresh air due to odor.

Talking with the local shopkeepers it is known this has been going on for past 2-3 years and several times it was informed to the officials but nothing has happened yet. It is alleged that for the last few days the odd smell created a difficult situation in the area to breathe. A local shopkeeper asked a Journalist, ‘Even you cannot stand for 10 minutes due to the pungent smell and we are trading here for the entire day’.

The shopkeeper before media said that due to odd smell the public are avoiding coming into their shop, resulting the shopkeeper facing losses. The local people demand the matter to be solved immediately as they cannot breathe properly.

However, it has now remained to be seen when the matter would resolve.
