AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): 22 years old man Rosen Uddin allegedly has raped his minor cousin sister. The incident took place in Yuvrajnagar area under Dharmanagar police station of North district.

It has been reported that on Thursday afternoon, accused Rosen, a resident of Yuvraj Nagar area, came to his relative’s house and taking  opportunity of being alone with his sister at home, he raped her. Later, the victim complained to her family.

Immediately, the family members brought the minor to Dharmanagar district hospital and now she is currently under treatment in the Dharmanagar District Hospital.

Meanwhile, a case of rape was filed at Dharmanagar Women Police Station by the minor's family. The police received the written complaint and started investigation under Section 376(2) (m) 376 (AB) of IPC 4 of POCSO of Indian Penal Code.

It is also known that the accused rapist has two wives in his house. Right now the accused man is absconding.
