AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s house was gheraoed by Youth Congress on Monday demanding his resignation over massive teachers’ crisis in Tripura schools. The youth Congress condemned the Education Minister’s roleplay in delaying the recruitment amid his previous tall claims are in record. “Yesterday in a school in Agartala it was seen that a teacher is forced to work in two schools due to teachers’ crisis. In Udaipur, a teacher was given 8 classes a day. The Minister has totally failed to control the chaos and to uplift the Education system".
"It’s him who claimed that there are massive vacancies in Teachers’ post but due to TET qualifiers crisis, he can not appoint teachers. But when TET qualifiers are unemployed, now the Education Minister can’t recruit them”, said a Youth Congress leader.
The agitators demanded the immediate resignation of Minister Ratan Lal Nath over his failure.
Police arrested all the agitators to vacate the area in front of Ratan Lal Nath’s home.
