AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): With the initiative of the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) Srinathpur branch committee, a deputation was placed to the BDO of Gaurnagar block through the secretary of Srinathpur Gram Panchayat on seven-point demands.
Before placing the deputation, the party workers and supporters gathered in front of the government school of Srinathpur village and started a procession in front of the school.
A seven-member delegation led by CPI-M leaders Tuaqul Ali and Habib Uddin met on deputation to the Panchayat Secretary.
The procession was led by MLA Mobswar Ali, Regional Secretary Surman Ali and many others.
Nineteen voters left the BJP party and joined the CPI-M during the program and MLA Mobswar Ali handed over the party flag to the hands of the newcomers. Addressing the road meeting, MLA Mobaswar Ali said that in the Srinathpur Gram Panchayat area, houses should be provided to all those whose names are in the Annexure-C list, those whose names are in the Annexure-D list or whose names are not yet included in the Annexure-D list. House should be provided to everyone including name, MGNREGA works should be done in every ward area of ??Srinathpur Gram Panchayat and it should be done for two hundred days and the wages would be three hundred and forty rupees, drinking water should be provided all houses.
