AMBASSA, July 20 (TIWN): In another row of protests, people blocked roads in Amabassa after getting no solution to their long pending demands on diminishing water crisis, electricity problems, and repairing roads.
On Wednesday, locals of Betbagan, Raypasha area blocked the road in protest for their basic rights.
The agitators alleged that the pump operator stopped working after he did not get salary for many months.
At the same time, roads are in a miserable shape which causes massive problems for the locals, especially on rainy days.
Later, the local authority getting information rushed to the spot and assured the locals that their problems would be solved very soon.
On Wednesday, various parallel protests were witnessed in many other places of Tripura. Protests are conducted also by school students against teachers’ crisis.
