AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): "Why are you parking a vehicle in front of my shop"? This is a common ground of ego-fight among shop-keepers and public and today such an incident turned violent in Chanmari area near Chandinamura market in Agartala.
Reportedly, two youths named Indrajit and Jahar severely beat up a 28-year-old youth named Dipjyoti Das in Chandina Mura area.
It is known that the young man named Dipjyoti Das parked his motorcycle in front of Indrajit's shop which erupted into an argument, and the argument later turned into clashes.
Later injured Dipjyoti Das was rescued and brought to the hospital and then to a local police station. A case was filed against two attackers at the police station.
Dipjyoti asked, "The shopkeeper is the owner of his shop but how can he attack anyone if s/he parks his/her vehicle on Govt land ? There was no parking spot in the area and so obviously, we have to keep our bikes in safe and crowded places".
