AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Although TET qualifiers met CM Manik Saha but doubt prevails how far he can solve the problems of the job aspirants. After receiving no hope from Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, TET qualified unemployed youths met Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday requesting him to recruit all the TET qualified youths. After meeting the CM the TET qualified unemployed youths told media that they have requested him to think about the qualified youths’ recruitment as Banks are pressuring them to clear the loans even though it was told them that before their jobs, nobody have to return the loan which they took to complete their B.Ed Education.
The job aspirants expressed heavy resentment over the role of previous CM Biplab Deb and Minister Ratan Lal Nath who declared to recruit 15,000 teachers but now when 3,600 unemployed youths are TET qualified they are not getting jobs.
Including 10323 teachers posts and retiring teachers, there are over 30,000 vacant posts, said the job aspirants.
However, CM Manik Saha could not assure them anything specifically but said to think over their matter.
