UDAIPUR, July 9 (TIWN): A young man named Rupankar Kar allegedly looted Rs. 39 lakhs from a woman in Udaipur promising to arrange a liquor shop license for her.
According to the victim woman 2019, April 19 Rupankar Kar took Rs. 39 lakhs from her promising to give her a liquor shop license. So far Rupankar has not returned her any amount.
She told media that she needs the money as her husband is very ill and she needs the amount for his treatment.
The victim went to Rupankar Kar’s home in Agartala, Bordowali but the family members of Rupankar allegedly misbehaved with her. It has been known that Rupankar does not stay in his home in Agartala and stays in Kolkata.
Reportedly, Rupankar earlier claimed himself as a BJP member and also former AAP leader.
