AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath who assured to recruit 14,000 teachers immediately if he gets qualified candidates has once again overturned his statement saying, “Nowhere in this nation recruitment happens at a time”. But netizens have argued against his statement saying in Assam recruitment at a time happened. Moreover, under the previous Govt in Tripura no TET qualified left deprived and there was no drama between Dept and TRBT. TRBT hardly verified the certificates and jobs were guaranteed once anyone passed in TET. Difference between both Govts clearly shows the lack of “intention” in the BJP Govt to provide jobs.

But Ratan Lal Nath went on, “Still talks are underway and file movements are going on to ensure that no one stays deprived. We are talking to the finance department. Before Durga puja the first phase of recruitment will happen and then phase-wise it will continue”.

“In case of senior basic level, TET qualifiers can be recruited but when it’s about recruiting in senior classes, we can’t recruit anyone without TRBT’s approval”, said Ratan Lal Nath.

The statement came after TET qualifiers gheraoed Ratan Lal Nath’s house seeking his final statement. For now, TET qualified youths have withdrawn protest for a month, though they are not satisfied with the statement of the Minister.
