AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): On Thursday, a 26-year-old CRPF Jawan of 140 No Battalion committed suicide by hanging himself.
The deceased Jawan named Kamal Das hanged self in 140 No battalion gym room. After his body was spotted it was reported to the police of Ambasa PS.
The Police rescued him from the spot and took him to Dhalai district hospital where the doctor on-duty declared him dead.
Meanwhile, his body was kept at Dhalai District Hospital for autopsy.
It is known he is a resident of Assam.
