AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Students of Tilabazar H/S School in Kailasahar which falls under ‘Vidyajyoti’ Scheme runs with shortages of Teacher as per Student claim. The students claimed that the School runs with subject Teacher crisis, and also Head Teacher. Over Teacher crisis for long the students blocked the road demanding subject teacher and Head-Teacher, the students also burnt tires on Road.
An agitating student claimed, “we are providing Rs 1040, as we are providing the amount the Education System must have to be up to level, only 22-23 teachers for 24/25 classes among them 2-3 teachers are in leave, resulting no proper classes is going on”
Over Teacher crisis and improper classes the students asked, “Our Syllabus is not completing, if we got failed then who will take responsibility?”
On receiving road blockade and tire burning news the Police, CRPF, Fire Service personnel rushed at the spot to control the situation. The District Education Department in-charge Kartik Debbarma and another official Abdul Gani came and talked to the students.
The student demanded subject teacher and Head-Teacher in the School and if their demands are not met within 3 days then they will go for larger protests again.
