AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Mohanpur SDM sealed 2 tea gardens in Bamutia area on 3rd July saying the tea gardens properties belong to the Govt. After that for last few days reportedly the tea garden workers could not get chance to work for the past 2-3 days. The workers stated that how will they get paid if they don’t work, based on what they will be paid? Raising those questions the workers blocked Bamutia main road.

The workers raised a question : if they don’t get the money then how will they feed their family?

Their only demand is they want their owners back. Oppositely, a local leader stated that some CPIM people from the local area mislead the workers.

However, later the Police Administration rushed to the spot and withdrew the blockade after talking with them.
