AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): In another domestic violence incident, a housewife named Payel Chuan Acharjee was brutally tortured by her husband at Chandina Para.

Payel’s husband Rajib Acharjee is an MPW employee, and regularly tortures his wife.

On Sunday evening also she was beaten up by her husband after a little argument was generated between these two.

Anyhow she managed to escape through the window and rushed to Ambassa Police station. From there, her family members took her to GB hospital.
